Nice people, but the ambience has the charm of a station concourse and the food was a loveless mix of convenience and dry meat. No need to come back.

Just drove past it for years and made fun of it because everything looks so old-fashioned. But then, about 3 years ago we came back at the request of my mother and what can I say ??? We were so enthusiastic and convinced that we now regularly drive here from Dieburg because it just tastes delicious and is one of the best things you can get on the plate. I love the game dishes, tender and tasty bomb and my mother doesn't get a better rump steak anywhere ... as a starter I always treat myself to soup and fresh eggs, canned sausage and above all the delicious cake and cake are always allowed to go home start with us. Visually it's not the litter, but I don't want to move in, I want to eat delicious and you can definitely do that! You get a delicious dish for your money and the portions are also sensational! I can only recommend it!

Real honest German food. There is enough parking space here and everyone is welcome. The meat and eggs, as well as the vegetables are sourced from our own farm. Really great taste. Whether rump steak or slaughter plate, here the meat still tastes of meat. The ambience is getting old, but that is not relevant here.

Very quaint dining room with good home cooking. The quality of the meat and the homemade sausage as well as the products from the garden are excellent. An absolutely unique in the Odenwald. Even the romantic atmosphere of the dining room, reminiscent of earlier times.

Eat good plain food. That's why you drive into the Odenwald. Just right for "meat eaters". Whether schnitzel or rump steak (from our own grazing cattle), rich and very tasty. And if you can't get enough, take a can of sausage with you on the go 😉 ...

Schnitzel were good. But an onion schnitzel should be served with freshly prepared onion strips and not with onions cooked to pulp. Also the comment of the waitress that you couldn't please every guest was not appropriate. There are better restaurants in the area.
